Suspected abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation of children or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults over the age of 60 or disabled should be reported immediately to the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCFS) by calling the Florida Abuse Hotline toll-free at 800-96ABUSE (800-962-2873) or by completing the online Florida Abuse Hotline Report.
Any emergency situation where a child or elderly/disabled person appears to face immediate risk of abuse or neglect that is likely to result in death or serious harm (without intervention) should first be reported immediately by calling 911 or your local law enforcement agency.
FS.668.6076 Public records status of e-mail addresses; agency website notice.—Any agency, as defined in s. 119.011, or legislative entity that operates a website and uses electronic mail shall post the following statement in a conspicuous location on its website. Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
