Passports
Pam Childers, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller of Escambia County Florida is pleased to announce that her office accepts Passport Applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. PLEASE NOTE:
Completed Passport Applications must be typed or written in black ink only and on one side of the page. White-out and corrections are not allowed. If an error is made on the application form, you must complete a new form. Corrections made with white-out, crossing out the incorrect information, writing the correction on top of the error, etc... are not acceptable.
Missing or incorrect information will result in a delay of processing the application. Prior to submitting the application, please carefully review the application in its entirety to make sure it is complete and correct.
Submission Requirements
The following must be provided when submitting
1) Proof of United States Citizenship (One of the Following; Must Be Original; No Copies)
- Certificate of Citizenship
- Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth
- Naturalization Certificate
- Previously issued, undamaged U.S. Passport (current or expired)
- Parents must submit proof of relationship to a minor applicant. Proof of relationship is not established through a previous passport. A certified birth certificate is acceptable to prove relationship, as long as it lists the parents' names.
2) Proof of Identity (One of the Following)
- Current Military ID
- Current Photo Government ID (city, state or federal)
- Naturalization Certificate
- Previously issued, undamaged U.S. Passport
- Valid Driver License (if issued by a state other than Florida, please bring a second form of identification in addition to Driver License)
3) Photocopy of Identification Presented in Number 2
- Images may be enlarged but may not be decreased
- Must be on plain white, 8 1/2 by 11 inch standard paper stock
- Must contain images on only one-side of each page (showing front and back of ID)
- Paper should be free of any other markings or images
4) One Passport Photo
- Background: white only
- Passport photos are available at the Clerk's location for $20
- Picture: color, with a clear, full front view of your face
- Size: 2 by 2 inches
Check or money order only (no cash or credit/debit cards): Payable to "U.S. Department of State" for each Passport.

Clerk Processing Fees
Cash, Credit Card, Check, or Money Order payable to "Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller - (ESC CO CLERK)" for each Passport with the following:
- $20 Passport photograph (if applicable)
- $28.75 Expedited Delivery Fee (if applicable)
- $35 Clerk Processing Fee
