All jury proceedings continue to be suspended through July 17, 2020. 


Walk-In Customers

Despite the many closures the Clerk continues to provide many services remotely through phone, email, and online access.  The following provides an update on walk-in access to the Clerk’s physical locations. 

  • Only those persons with court proceedings or those with other official business may enter the M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building (190 W. Government Street) or Theodore Bruno Juvenile Justice Center (1800 St. Mary Avenue). 
  • The Clerk’s Century location (7500 N. Century Blvd) and Public Records Center (120 E. Blount Street) remain closed to walk-in visitors at this time. 
  • The Clerk’s Official Records location (221 N. Palafox Street) is now open to walk-in visitors.

Please use the Clerk’s online directory to reach a department directly.  Access to buildings may change as the First Judicial Circuit works through the phased reopening so please monitor this page.
